Odyssey-SPACETIME-

Todays Sunday post is a reminder about the dreams and love that never dies.

HOMER'S ODYSSEY

AS the City of Chickasaw, Alabama approaches it's Founder's Day Celebration on October 30th this year, I am posting this link to another samll town citizen who has had a great impact on his community and his fans and readers. GOD's PROVIDENCE never
stops working in the lives of those who will "trust in HIM with their whole heart and lean not on their own understanding; in all of their ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will make their paths straight" Proverbs3:5-6...

Tragedy to Triumph

Yesterday Christians celebrated the most significant event in history, past present and future. This morning, STS-131 (Discovery) was launched. When those disciples of Jesus discovered that HE had risen from the dead, it meant that the lives of many would never be the same. Something that mankind had longed for since creation was now a reality. Man can live forever, the proverbial fountain of youth. Now came a new dilemma. Where would man choose to spend eternity? With his Creator, or with the rebellious angels under the leadership of satan in a place of eternal suffering and separation from GOD. The crew of the space shuttle Discovery just like the crew of all previous missions continue to make those small steps into space and learn more and more about GOD's remarkable creation.

Day Of Remembrance

Seven years ago today, the crew of Columbia, STS-107 perished on their approach to landing in Florida. As Endeavor-STS-130 awaits to launch from this same location, let us remember the bravery of those who venture into space often at great peril.
